Fundacja Centrum Aktywności Twórczej in Leszno, Poland, is seeking ESC volunteers for an exciting and impactful year ahead!
Activity Description:
Join us to raise awareness on mental health issues, including self-harm and suicide. Throughout 2024, you’ll be involved in diverse activities:
- August: Participate in local festival events.
- October: Focus on youth mental health and celebrate Erasmus+ Days with promotions and dissemination of EU mobility projects and youth information platforms.
- November: Engage in activities aimed at fighting depression, targeting both young people and parents.
- December: Celebrate International Volunteer Day with a Volunteer Gala in collaboration with the City of Leszno authorities.
- January 2024: Promote vegetarianism and eco-friendly practices.
- March 2024: Advocate for tolerance, counteract violence, and combat racial discrimination through cultural promotion.
- April 2024: Encourage physical activity and stress management.
- May and June 2024: Promote EU mobility projects with a focus on youth engagement.
Accommodation, Food, and Transport Arrangements:
- Pocket money as per the ESC Guide 2022 (page 29)
- Food allowance and house cleaning supplies provided
- HENNER health cover included
- Shared accommodation with other volunteers, including common space and bathroom
- Access to foundation bikes
- Reimbursement for local transport used for work
- Travel ticket reimbursement according to ESC Guide (page 26), including “green travel”
Training During the Activity:
- On Arrival Training with the Polish National Agency
- Mid-Term Training with the Polish National Agency
- Coaching with the EU Training Academy
- Youth Pass Certificate
- ESC Volunteering Diploma
Participant Profile:
- Must be able to work with kids and youth
- Proficiency in teaching languages (Spanish, English, German, or French)
- Skills in editing and creating social media content and short movies
- Ability to work both in a group and independently
- Interest in ecological activities, sports, and wellbeing
- Knowledge of European values and willingness to share this knowledge
- Artistic skills in music, art, or theater are a plus
