PVN works to strengthen democratic culture by expanding civic space and enabling meaningful participation of young people and citizens in public life. We promote transparency, accountability, and inclusive decision-making through dialogue between civil society, institutions, and communities. Our initiatives connect grassroots participation with policy discussions and democratic innovation.
Peace and Intercultural Dialogue
PVN promotes peacebuilding through dialogue, inclusion, and intercultural learning, fostering mutual understanding across communities, young poeple and countries. By creating safe spaces for dialogue and cooperation, we address polarization, discrimination, and conflict. Our work empowers young people to become active promoters of peace and social cohesion.
Volunteering and Social Cohesion
PVN promotes volunteering as a form of active citizenship that strengthens solidarity, social cohesion, and community resilience. Through local and international volunteering programs, including the European Solidarity Corps, young people contribute to community initiatives while developing civic responsibility and intercultural understanding.
Youth Empowerment
PVN empowers young people to become active citizens, leaders, and changemakers in their communities and beyond. Through non-formal education, trainings, exchanges, and youth-led initiatives, we strengthen civic skills, leadership, and participation. Our programs ensure that young people have the confidence and opportunities to shape democratic and peaceful societies.
