Youth Boost – A Week of Growth, Culture & Connection in Córdoba

From March 26 to April 1^st , young changemakers from across Europe gathered in Cerro Muriano, Córdoba to kick off Youth Boost—a vibrant international youth project organized by Diputación de Córdoba and Asociación Europa 2020. The project focused on youth empowerment through non-formal education, cultural exchange, and active participation.

The week started with warm welcomes, team-building games, and creative tasks like group “wallpapers” and promotional videos. Participants quickly bonded and embraced their new environment—ready to learn, share, and grow.

Throughout the days, the program offered a rich mix of learning sessions, field visits, and interactive workshops. Participants visited the Andalusian Youth Institute (IAJ) and Palacio de la Merced, discovering local youth support systems and the history of Córdoba. They engaged in thought-provoking activities such as the Abigail story debate on moral dilemmas, the Mission Impossible group challenge, and a theater session that contrasted formal vs. non-formal education.

Creativity and dialogue were central to the experience—from the NGO Fair where participants showcased their organizations, to the World Café where deep conversations on identity, youth issues, and intercultural understanding took place.

Cultural immersion was also a highlight. The Intercultural Night brought together music, food, dance, and traditions from all over Europe, showing how diversity strengthens our shared experience.

As the project wrapped up, participants created a newspaper-style dissemination piece, summarizing their journey through articles and visuals. Networking sessions opened doors for future collaboration, and the final Youthpass Ceremony marked the achievements and growth of every participant.

More than just a project, Youth Boost became a shared journey of learning, reflection, and friendship for our youngsters Deni, Ergys and Klest. The energy, knowledge, and connections built during the week will carry on—fueling new projects, ideas, and international cooperation long after the final goodbye.
