👉 From 18 to 25 April, two participants from PV

👉 From 18 to 25 April, two participants from PVN Albania attended the Peace Education Market in Bern, Switzerland🇨🇭.

👥 30 young people from 13 countries gathered for an empowering week to create new opportunities and share their knowledge or experiences in their peace-building journey. While exploring approaches to peace in three pillars: inner peace, peace with others, and peace with nature, they had the opportunity to hold their own workshops to deliver new ideas and methods to work on the future.

🎯 This initiative served as the perfect space to promote the well-being of peace educators in VUCA times and provide networking opportunities with Swiss and international NGOs.

🤝New partnerships have already started, and follow-up activities on the Peace Education Market are coming soon!

The Peace Education Market was implemented with Movetia's support. Movetia promotes exchange, mobility, and cooperation in education, training, and youth work in Switzerland, Europe, and worldwide.

👉Study visit "Democracy and well-being" Norway🇳🇴, 2024

🗓️On the last days of the study visit, participants walked through the Island of Life to reflect on the importance of well-being through sports activities and talking therapy about different aspects of life: physical/mental health, business, romance, personal and professional development. We visited Fida offices to learn about Fida's activities, democratic actions, and the development of youth work in the community.

👥On 6th May, participants attended the Democracy Conference / European Conference, where official leaders in different positions and organizations called on the citizens of Europe and the world to get active and put pressure on politics that does not respect democratic principles and human rights.

💭 Study Visit, Democracy and Well-being, 2-7 Ma

💭 Study Visit, Democracy and Well-being, 2-7 May, Norway 🇳🇴.

👥 Participants from 8 different countries of Europe🇪🇺 gathered to get to know each other, connect, exchange their experiences, and learn about challenges related to human rights, empowerment of minorities, freedom of speech, faith, beliefs, diversity, and solidarity.

🗓️ On the first two days, participants visited the municipality and sustainability center, where they learned more about politics, actions related to NGO empowerment, social sustainability, and greener practices.

🌆 In the evening, participants had an intercultural night sharing cultural traditions related to music, dance, food, and history.

This project was funded by Erasmus + and organized by @joetzvzw vzw and PVN Albania.

⭐️ From the 1st to the 4th of February, the 1st Steering Team Meeting of the project STAR (Story Toures Alternative Routes) took place in Rome, in La Città dell'Utopia.
STAR aims to enhance collaboration among partner organizations from six countries - SSD Jourdan, CID Macedonia, PVN Albania, VCV Serbia, SCI Catalunya, and SCI Italy - to deliver impactful youth programs through a more digital, inclusive and sustainable approach while promoting youth engagement and values of inclusion using educational tours methodology

🧐 In particular, during this meeting, we had an overview of the project, exploring the different activities that will take place in the next thirty months, focusing on the roles and responsibilities for each sub-activity and overall coordination.

🤝 STAR is a KA2 project "Cooperation partnerships in Youth", financed by the European Union through the Erasmus+ program with the support of the Italian National Agency.

Throughout our journey, media literacy emerged as a crucial tool in navigating historical narratives, understanding diverse perspectives, and promoting critical thinking. Participants delved deep into analyzing media portrayals, questioning biases, and developing the power of storytelling to shape a more inclusive future.

🌍 With 20 passionate young participants from 9 countries actively engaging, our discussions crossed borders and backgrounds. Beyond just learning about the topic, these dynamic young people forged lasting connections, sharing personal experiences, and bridging cultural divisions. This collaborative spirit not only enriched our exploration of untold histories but also laid the groundwork for future collaborations and initiatives.

🤝 As we bid farewell to this transformative experience, let's carry forward the lessons of media literacy, empathy, and collective action. Together, we can continue to amplify marginalized voices, challenge historical narratives, and create a world where understanding and reconciliation thrive. Here's to the power of youth and the unspoken stories that unite us all! 🌟

[Call for Applications - Training Course] “Everyone is a genius, but if you judge a fish by its ability to climb trees, it will spend its life believing itself incapable”, Orvieto, Italy, 18th-26th April.

🎯 The objective of the training course, is to provide new tools and new methodologies to the social workers and volunteers, working on the integration of people with disabilities and fewer opportunities, to effectively implement their competences in the help relationship and refine strategies for inclusion of people with disabilities and fewer opportunities.

What to expect from this training 🤔: a better understanding of the dynamics behind discriminating behaviors, develop listening and an attitude open to diversity, share the different working methods adopted in each country to facilitate the balance between disabled people and not disabled once, value oneself, face reality, know one's limits, sense of responsibility, confront one another, understand the fertility of error, learn from experience, do not be afraid to change, do not be afraid to try.

🎭The workshops and the activities will be based on the active methodologies proposed by theatre, storytelling and songwriting, photo/video linked to the tales that everyone will share... We believe that all these tools are powerful to promote dialogue, to exchange experiences and good practices, to analyze conflicts and address them in a non-violent way.

🌟🤝 Peace Volunteering Network (PVN), with the support of the Global Community Engagement and Resilience Fund @thegcerf , in coordination with The Coordination Center for Countering Violent Extremism – Albania @cvealbania, recently conducted a workshop to present the findings of the National Study on “Country needs assessment to identify key needs for Prevention of Violent Extremism, Repatriation and Rehabilitation in Alban

📊🔍 The study, conducted at the national level by local partner PVN, included a comprehensive analysis of the legal and institutional framework, rehabilitation and reintegration processes, as well as perceptions of radicalization and violent extremism.

💡💼 Mr. Gianluigi Lopes, Country Manager and GCERF representative, highlighted the crucial need for support and funding for this study, along with GCERF's future investment strategy in Albania to strengthen support for the country.
Ms. Lejdi Dervishi, Director of the CVE Albania, emphasized the importance of ongoing GCERF support for rehabilitation and reintegration processes, as well as the coordinated strategic framework for preventing radicalization and violent extremism.

💬💡 The workshop generated ideas and initiatives related to long-term processes, envisioning the engagement of all stakeholders in this field.

🔍📈 The study provided a detailed overview of needs, challenges, and opportunities, as well as a list of recommendations for key actors in policy-making, strengthening mechanisms, capacity building, intersectoral cooperation, preventing violent extremism in Albania, and rehabilitation and reintegration processes.

🤝💬 Together, workshop participants engaged in fruitful discussions and collaborative efforts to identify key priorities in preventing violent extremism, as well as strategies for rehabilitation and reintegration in Albania. With key actors from various institutions and organizations, an open space for dialogue and idea exchange was created, fostering a collective approach to addressing these urgent challenges.

Eventi u zhvillua në formën e një biblioteke humane, ku patëm rastin të njohim dhe të dëgjojmë historitë dhe vështirësitë e të rinjve të verbër. 📚👥 Ky ishte një moment i veçantë për të prezantuar projektin "Include" dhe për të ndarë eksperiencat dhe sfidat e tyre në një bashkëbisedim të hapur dhe frymëzues.
