The project aimed to foster social and economic inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities and special needs by increasing the capacities of youth workers towards more inclusive approaches and practices in their daily work, and develop independent living skills and employability of people with disabilities and fewer opportunities.
It was 2 years project, its implementation started in August 2018, coordinated by PVN Albania and Association Babylon Travel in Romania, in partnership with 5 partners from Albania, Romania, Portugal, Kosovo, and Serbia.
Through this project we managed to:
- Share experiences among the consortium, share tools and plan future inclusive activities through a 7 days Seminar held in Cluj-Napoca, Romania
- Developed skills of youth workers on how to motivate, encourage and engage young people with special needs and fewer opportunities in social and economical life
- Developed a manual with adaptive tools to be used by youth workers and organizations in the field of youth
- Enabled young people to practice non-formal learning tools, develop or improve their CV and motivation letter, though e youth exchange held in Cluj-Napoca.
- Increased the; level of information about inclusion and diversity to around 300 young people in the 5 participating countries though the local workshops
The project engaged 5 organizations, around 45 youth workers, and 35 young people with and without fewer opportunities. The project was supported by the European Commission, Erasmus plus program, Romanian NA.
