The project “Me, My selves and I” aims to growth healthy youth who are able to recognize and work out on their own prejudice, have skills and good attitudes to be actors of change in the society, especially on combating hate speech, different forms of violence and violent extremism at local, regional and European level.

It is focused on three main youth dimensions:

  • Youth and their own prejudice: how they can explore, recognize, talk and overcome such prejudice (Teach the hidden bias and challenge themselves to cultivate tolerance and active participation)
  • Youth toward prejudice and discrimination they have for others ( groups and individuals considerate different, girls and women)
  • Youth as active participants to combat prejudice, discrimination and hate in their environment/society ( The power of I will for positive social change)

The project dig into the greatness of young people on realizing their fears, hidden prejudice and explore capacities on them for being active citizens on combating negative phenomenon’s, such gender based violence, extremism, hate speech online and offline, other forms of violence etc.

Direct beneficiaries are young people from different backgrounds, especially from rural areas and people with fewer opportunities (social, ethnic, culture and economic obstacles).

It is shaped by:

  • National training for young people
  • Follow up local workshops
  • Booklet
  • Video

We’re not who we say we are, we’re not who we want to be—we are the sum of the influence and impact that we have, in our lives, on others.”

For having the desired impact on our lives, in others, we need to know ourselves, our strengthens and weakness, take off our fears, prejudice and hate, ask simple questions: Who am I ? Where do I stand towards my selves and others ?

This what we bring on, stay tuned!
