Literature Residency_Poetry Night “For memory’s sake”

Albanian Literature Residency, on frame of ECHO III: “For memory’s sake” project, came to its end.

The residency took place as poetry nights in Tirana on 29th of March and Berat on 30th of March and brought together 6 writers from Albania, Romania, Bulgaria and Greece to speak through verses about arranged/force marriages in the Balkans.

The poetry nights were divided into two parts, first half writers interpreted their poems and on the second half a discussion between writers and audience happened, whereby the latter shared the motivation and inspiration for the poem’s written.

We thank the writers for their amazing work and all those who help to make them possible.
