PVN Albania is looking to hire a motivated professional for the position of Project Assistant.

We are a non-profit organization that works for a healthy society in collaboration with different partners to encourage youth empowerment, public awareness and its involvement into development, cultural and artistic national and international activities. Besides other objectives, PVN Albania aims to increase the capacities and the progress of Albanian society, create equal opportunity for all, especially for categories in need and youth with fewer opportunities, increase the sense of voluntarism in our society, empower, raise awareness and inform youth and society for important issues that are  related directly with them.

Position: Project Assistant
Location: Tirana, Albania
Time of work commencement: July 2021

Job Responsibilities:
• Assists in the implementation of project activities;
• Plans, coordinates and monitors the envisaged project activities according to certain objectives;
• Follows the monthly working plan and prepares the relevant reports after the completion according to the requirements of the project;
• Assists in the compilation of periodic reports within the project in which will be engaged;
• Establishes contacts with employees of local government structures or non-governmental organizations and maintains communication with them;
• Organize meetings with representatives from local government institutions and assists in the implementation of activities envisaged with them;
• Collaborates with the PVN Albania team;

Qualifications and Experience:
• Master’s degree in social sciences or related fields;
• Work experience in non-governmental organizations and/or public institutions (3-5 years of experience);
• General knowledge of the organizational structure of local government institutions;
• Experience in interacting with local government authorities and non-governmental organizations;
• Very good knowledge of English language
