During the pandemic 😷we transferred our lives to the digital world💻, although it allowed us the means to communicate📞, study📓 and work it also became a hotbed for rumours, misinformation and hate speech.
The latest report by the Institute for Social Research (ISF) in Albania 🇦🇱 showed that twice as many LGBTI 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧people were targets of discrimination and exclusion compared to the rest of the population. According to the report, most of those who were targets of hate speech were targeted online, such as in comments sections on Facebook and/or Instagram.
🤝Standing side by side with those who suffer discrimination and alienation in society is essential to combating this behaviour.
