We are happy to announce the call for participants for the upcoming Youth Exchange “Next Step Skills”, which will take place in Durrës, Albania, from 15 to 23 April 2026 (including travel days).
This international mobility brings together young people to develop essential transversal skills that are increasingly important in today’s fast-changing labour market. Technical knowledge alone is no longer enough — employers and entrepreneurs need strong communication, teamwork, leadership, critical thinking, and decision-making skills to succeed and adapt in diverse professional environments.
During this youth exchange, participants will engage in non-formal education activities, experiential learning sessions, teamwork-based challenges, simulations, and reflective group work. They will work in international mixed teams, collaborate with peers from different backgrounds, and practice skills in real-life inspired situations.
A key highlight of the project will be the creation of simple mini business ideas in teams. Participants will design and present their ideas in a “career fair” style simulation, where they will explore different professional roles, identify their strengths, and match their skills with potential responsibilities. This practical approach helps young people better understand their abilities and increases their confidence in shaping their future career paths.
We are especially committed to inclusion and diversity. Young people with fewer opportunities and special needs are strongly encouraged to apply. The project aims to create a supportive, accessible, and respectful learning environment where everyone can actively participate, contribute, and grow.
Who can apply?
We are currently looking for:

Young people aged 20–30 from Albania

Youth leaders aged 20+
Participants should be motivated to learn, open to intercultural exchange, and willing to actively engage in all project activities.
