Call for Participants- U GOT THE POWER OVER U

You got the power over you – Training course is a product of a partnership in which 9 organizations came together to tackle stress and anxiety management of leaders of organizations and their youth leaders.

Our training course is designed to help leaders of organizations and their youth leaders to Lead Mindfully by aligning their body, mind and spirit with theoretical and practical activities in place. They will learn about stress management techniques, develop their leadership skills
and learn about experiential learning based mindfulness practices. Our methods will focus on the practical usage and application of Leading Mindfully practices in youth leader’s professional and personal life to enhance their self-consciousness and focus on things that matter.

Location: Struga, North Macedonia
Dates: 30th May to 4th June 2022

 PROFILE OF THE PARTICIPANTS
The number of participants per organisation is present in the reimbursement table. For each group of participants, there should be numerical gender equality in order to ensure gender balance as well as between different sensibilities and life trajectories. All participants must know
the basics for communicating in English.

The following specific criteria was established for the selection of the
participants:
• Youth trainers/youth workers/youth leaders/youngsters active in their organizations;
• Strongly motivated to get more involved in learning and sharing Leadership and Mindfulness skills to tackle stress, anxiety and burnout related issues;
• Preference for participants coming from a fewer opportunities background;
• Preferably participants who have experience in youth work and are active members of their organizazions;
• Gender balance, select equal number of male and female participants.
• Aged 18+

For the selection: candidates should fill in the application form and send it back to the sending organization before the 24th of March. By the 24th we kindly ask the partner organizations to send the chosen participants by mail (with their forms) to Zoran Velkovski: zokivel@gmail.com
