CALL – “Youth and local government strategically create local volunteerism”

🗣️ Call for participants: National training “Youth and local government strategically create local volunteerism”, Tirana, April 10 – 13.

✅ Following the initiatives to encourage volunteerism in local government, PV organizes national training for members of the Municipality (coordinators of the 8 pilot municipalities in the Consortium: Tirana, Elbasani, Lushnjë, Korcë, Pogradec, Berat, Shkodër and Tropojë), social organizations civilians operating in these cities and young people about drafting sales plans, advocacy and lobbying for volunteering as an expression of democracy and social cohesion.

✅ In this training, the participants will increase their knowledge on local democracy, youth participation, social cohesion, volunteering, as well as develop lobbying and advocacy skills, how to develop an action plan for volunteering, etc.

👤Profile of participants

This training is open to:
📍 The coordinators/specialists of the 8 Pilot Municipalities are encouraged to coordinate volunteering at the Municipality;
📍 Representatives of local civil society organizations, media, youth and community centers from the 8 pilot cities;
📍 Young people, volunteers, activists, individuals from the 8 pilot cities;
📍 Motivated to learn about local democracy, social cohesion, volunteerism, how to draw up action plans, etc.;

👉 The training will be in Tirana from April 10-13, 2022 and the expenses (accommodation-food-transportation) for actions from the districts are covered.
