Projekte Vullnetare Nderkombetare and its partners are supported by RYCO within the third Open Call for Project Proposals co-financed by the Federal Republic of Germany.
Project objectives are:
- To foster youth regional mobilities and practicing intercultural learning competencies and non-violent communication through exchanges among young people and pupils of the high schools in the WB6 by organizing a week-long youth exchange between pupils and young people with fewer opportunities and some more privileged participants in Durres, Albania. Part of the youth exchange will be as an organizing a flash mob to promote youth collaboration and understanding and be prepared for peer to peer workshops with pupils of high schools and youth groups with fewer opportunities in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo and Serbia
- To enable the collaboration between public high schools, civil society organizations, teachers and pupils in WB6 as great influencers for the promotion of practicing intercultural learning competencies, non-violent communication, and inclusion due to exclusion of many young people coming from marginalized groups.
- To empower young people on understanding and practicing ICL and NVC by encouraging young people who participated in the youth exchange to organize peer to peer local workshops in their high school, and undertake an online campaign by themselves.
10 representatives of civil society organizations, teachers of the schools and pupils from Albania, Kosovo, Serbia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina gathers in Shkodra to prepare all the project details, especially a Youth Exchange
The youth exchange brings together 30 pupils to practice intercultural learning competencies, break barriers, put down the fears of each other in the region and strengthen their capacities to positively influence their peers towards regional collaboration.
After the exchange pupils will share what they learned and lived to their peers through local workshops in their local schools. This enables the transfer of knowledge and practice what is learned.
The project brings a region together, for a better region, better schools, better organizations, and better youth.
