đĢ Transparency and Accountability in Local Government are vital principles in the functioning of democracy. đ After an 11-month journey of empowering local youth organizations and practicing their proactive role as monitors of transparency and accountability in local government, PVN Albania organized the đđđđĸđ¨đ§đđĨ đđ¨đ§đđđĢđđ§đđ: âđđĸđ¯đĸđĨ đđ¨đđĸđđđ˛, đđđđĸđ, đđ§đ đđ¨đŽđđĄ đĸđ§ đđ¨đ§đĸđđ¨đĢđĸđ§đ đ¨đ đđĢđđ§đŦđŠđđĢđđ§đđ˛ đĸđ§ đđ¨đđđĨ đđ¨đ¯đđĢđ§đĻđđ§đ â.
đĸ At this conference, we had the opportunity to share with all participants the results achieved by the đ transparency monitoring processes carried out in đ 1ī¸âŖ5ī¸âŖ Municipalities of our country and to create a common discussion space on lessons learned, needs identified, and steps that can be taken to make the Right to Information easier and more effectively enforced by ensuring transparency which is one of the key elements of good local governance.
đ Throughout this journey, we are very grateful for the cooperation of 14 local youth organizations and local coordinators who have joined this project, representatives from the media and youth. Also special gratitude for the successful communication we have had with the 15 municipalities in which this project has been implemented.
