TEAMWORK FOR DIVERSITY(TeDi)

Erasmus+ KA-151 Youth Project

project financed by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union

The consortium of 5 partners is implementing the first main activity of the Youth Accreditation project 2022, a Youth Exchange “Teamwork for Diversity”, financed by the European Union and developed by Asociatia Babilon Travel in partnership with LYDIA KEK Ke.Di.Vi.M.2 (Greece). Projekte Vullnetare Nderkombetare (Albania), AzBuki (Serbia), and Taekwondo Klub Maksimir (Croatia).

The project focus on empowering youth and youth workers to develop valuable skills and knowledge based on fundamental values such as equity, inclusion, healthy living, education through sports, access to culture, democracy, and human rights. This initiative will enable participants to enhance their mobility, promote independent living, and ensure their human rights capacity.

To achieve its objectives, a first activity, a Youth Exchange is held in Paralia Katerinis, Greece, between 20-26March, where 30 young individuals will have the opportunity to engage in adapted and inclusive outdoor activities and sports workshops, alongside visually impaired participants. This will enable them to learn skills for more independent living, healthy lifestyles, and social inclusion.

All the activities are held in the Erasmus+ spirit and are based on non-formal education methods and tools in an inclusive and adapted way, considering the presence of visually impaired/blind participants(study visits, working groups, debriefings, free discussions, workshops, teambuilding exercises, energizers, reflections, presentations etc.).
